Job Summary:
The Construction Foreman will oversee and coordinate various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that schedules and budgets are followed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises and coordinates construction activities on-site.
- Supervises the telecom construction crew throughout the life of the project providing guidance and support.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership in jobs and materials necessary to complete project.
- Mastery of light electrical, digging, trenching, setting prefab metal platforms, installing ready-made metal cabinets, installing fencing, installing concrete pads, installing ice bridges, installing grounding, and running fiber lines required of telecommunications construction.
- Climb towers, poles, and other structures to install, reconfigure and repair microwave and other antenna cable.
- Schedules and coordinates project steps and budgets the time necessary to meet each deadline.
- Ensures adherence to the budget and, when unexpected complications or issues arise, makes quick and necessary adjustments.
- Plans, coordinates, organizes, oversees, and directs activities regarding the construction and maintenance of assigned structures, facilities, and systems.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications to carry out project work as assigned.
- Ensures OSHA safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite and that all safety codes are met in construction.
- Conducts regular inspections to ensure work is being performed according to specifications and policies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as Construction Supervisor, or similar role
- Reliable and Punctual.
- Ability to work safely at heights up to 500′
- Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
- Team player with excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
- Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays.
- Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems.
- Thorough understanding of blueprints, schematics, and contract documents
- Ability to train and mentor others.
Education and Experience:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering preferred.
- At least five years of relevant experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must pass a drug screening, criminal background check, and driving record.
- Requires frequent travel.
- Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
- Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite.

Tower Technician II

As a Tower Technician II, you are responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecommunications equipment and systems. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and implement Linkup Group Health Safety and Environmental Policies. (Safety Manual).
- Understand and implement Industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI)
- Climb towers and ladders at various heights
- Conduct erection of various tower types
- Off-load material and inventory
- Prepare and clean sites
- Install new carriers on new build and existing towers
- Assist in tower erection using helicopters, cranes, and gin poles
- Assist in the assembly of the monopole, all weld and knock down self-support and guyed towers
- Assist in the antenna installation of microwave parabolic 1 to 15-foot, VHF, UHF, cellular, and FM broadcast antennas
- Assist in the transmission line and installation of foam/air dielectric coaxial, hardline, and elliptical waveguide.
- Assist in the installation of all aspects of ell site foundations, grounding, and conduits, with electrical installations where applicable.
- Serve as a mentor to new less experienced technicians
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

- You have a High School Degree.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of tower (or directly related) experience
- You have the ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions per prints
- You possess working knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
- Possession of a PWSA certification is a plus
- You must have the ability to climb towers, be able to pick up 50 lbs., and be capable of working up to 12 hours.
- You must have a valid driver’s license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions
